A trip south to Xochimilco and a boat ride on the remains of a great lake and part of the Aztec canal system and then back to Mexico City.All the buildings in Mexico City seem to be sinking (note the plumb line in this church). There must have been an enormous amount of raw material when the Spanish arrived. The churches are filled with gold and onyx.
