Photos from North West Argentina
Here are some photos from Jujuy Province. The one that shows rectangles of bllue water is Salinas Grandes (an area of salt flats from volcanic ash). We passed Julia and the llama on the way to the Salinas Grandes. The beautiful colored mountains are in the Quebrada de Humahuaca (Humahuaca Gorge).

We're at the Newport Jazz Festival for 3 days so have not written much. Hannah, I just love your beautiful sweater in latest picture. Linda, you must rent the movie Blue Butterfly - it takes place in the Rain Forest. I kept thinking of you and your love for them. Safe rest-of-the-journey. We love you both! H would have a blast at the festival--next year????
