Iguazu Falls

We arrived Friday afternoon and changed traveler's checks (at a not so good exchange rate- it is probably better to bring cash and exchange on the street). We spent yesterday and today at the falls. Yesterday, we each took more than one hundred photos. Unfortunately, we don´t have wireless internet and haven´t yet found a computer with a usb port we can use to upload our photos. None of the adapters I have works to charge my laptop either (won´t accept a polarized plug). Today we hiked a trail 3 km in and then 3 km back out and were very tired and ate a huge late lunch at the park restaurant- Hannah is still on siesta as I am typing. Saturday we saw a small caiman, a coati (looks like an ant eater but is related to a raccoon), some fish and many birds and a few butterflies. It is so chilly after the swimsuit weather in Brazil. Today we saw several wild guinea pigs at Iguazu Park. A house nearby to where we are staying has a pet monkey- so cute and interactive- Hannah made a little movie of him playing and she also made a little movie at the Falls Saturday when we visited the Devil´s Throat- a huge group of falls. We booked a very comfy cama suite bus to Buenos Aires leaving here Tuesday and arriving there the next morning. Tomorrow we will shop in Puerto Iguazu and also try to find an internet cafe where we can post a few photos. Until tomorrow...

James had an adventure this weekend--he visited cats in a shelter; saw geese trying to cross the road (in a line--call cars stopped and James roared with laughter) - beachcombed, and found hermit crabs, etc. He watched a man claming....rock climbed at antique auto show, and loved his Grandpa's church "because they always leave their doors open."
